FORT WORTH, Texas — Wisconsin wrestling assistant coach Seth Gross will compete in the 2023 USA Wrestling Senior Nationals this Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 16-17.
Gross, a three-time NCAA All-American and 2018 NCAA Champion, competed at 61 kilograms for the men's freestyle competition with Team USA and helped win the 2022 Wrestling World Cup.
Gross is seeded seventh at 65 kilograms, stepping up to a higher weight class than prior years.
This event serves as a qualifier for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Wrestling, set for Bryce Jordan Center at Penn State, April 19-20. The top five place winners in each weight class qualify to compete at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Wrestling.
