MADISON, Wis. —
Connor Essegian scored 17 points and
Tyler Wahl had a double-double to lead Wisconsin in a 60-49 win over Iowa at the Kohl Center on Wednesday.
The Badgers (16-11, 8-9 Big Ten) shot over 52 percent from the floor, despite just 4-for-18 shooting from 3-point range.Â
Chucky Hepburn scored 12 points, and
Tyler Wahl finished with 11 points and 14 rebounds.
With his two 3-pointers, Essegian moved into a tie with
Brad Davison for Wisconsin's freshman school record for made 3s (60) in a season.
Iowa (17-11, 9-8 B1G) was held to just 3-for-24 shooting from 3-point range.
Next up for Wisconsin is a road game at Michigan on Sunday at 1 p.m. (CT) on CBS.

- Wednesday's win qualified as a Quad 2 victory, moving the Badgers to 10-10 in Quad 1/2 games this season.
- Purdue (14) and Iowa (11) are the only Big Ten teams with more Quad 1/2 wins than Wisconsin.
