UNIVERSITY Park, Pa. —
Chucky Hepburn led the way, including a clutch 3-pointer in the final seconds of regulation, to help Wisconsin earn a 79-74 overtime win at Penn State on Wednesday.
Hepburn, who scored a game-high 19 points, finished 5-for-9 from 3-point range.
Connor Essegian scored 18 points, fuelded by 4-for-7 shooting from beyond the arc.
Tyler Wahl returned to form with 16 points, a career-high eight assists, six rebounds, two blocks and one steal.
Steven Crowl rounded out double-figure scorers for UW with 11 points, eight rebounds and four assists.
The Badgers (14-9, 6-7 Big Ten) earned a much-needed win on the road in league play. It marked UW's fifth Quad 1 win of the season, which trails only Purdue (9) and Iowa (7) among Big Ten teams.
Wisconsin shot 52.8 percent from the floor, including 11-for-24 from 3-point range.
The Badgers will remain on the road and travel to Nebraska for a game Saturday. Tip is set for 3 p.m. CT on Big Ten Network.
