
Five Badgers earn Big Ten weekly awards

Jump, Ozkan, Weigand, Muller, and Torok honored
MADISON, Wis. – Five members of the Wisconsin men's and women's swimming and diving teams were honored by the Big Ten Conference this week.
The Badger men swept the conference weekly awards with redshirt freshman Ben Wiegand being named the Swimmer of the Week, earning his first career award. He was joined by freshman Dominik Mark Torok, who received the men's Freshman Swimmer of the Week accolade for the third time this season. Junior Daniel Muller was named the men's Diver of the Week, which is his first career award.
On the women's side, senior and captain Mallory Jump earned the women's Swimmer of the Week award for the first time in her career. She was joined by Hazal Ozkan, who won Freshman of the Week, her first career award with the Badgers.

- Garnered his third Freshman of the Week award, last received (Feb.1, 2023)
