Wisconsin closes out final day at Texas, Ohio State
AUSTIN, Texas — Dominik Mark Torok of the Wisconsin men's swim team dropped more than a second in his own school record in the 200 fly to close out the final day of competition for the swimmers at the Texas Invite and divers at Ohio State. The Badgers collected four NCAA qualifying times on the day.
Wisconsin also collected three of the top eight finishes in the event. Freshman Enzo Solitario touched the wall in fifth for a time of 1:41.69, a third-best all-time UW performance. Charlie Jones rounded things out in 1:42.81 for an eighth place finish. The three Badgers now sit in the top three all-time in the event.
Freshman Adam Graham stood out in the 200 back, touching the wall in 1:41.07 for a third place finish. The time marks a fifth-best all-time performance and a new personal best for the Badger, dropping over two seconds off his previous time.
At Ohio State, senior diver Jan Lanser collected an 11th place finish on the platform, picking up 299.70 points.
