CHICAGO – The Wisconsin women's track and field team won two events and recorded six new personal best marks at the Wisconsin Midwest Invitational at Gately Stadium on Saturday.
Leaders on the track
The 200 meters kicked off the second day of competition as Kiley Robbins set a new personal best in the event, finishing second with a time of 24.15 seconds. Robbins is currently third on UW's All-Time list and 11th in the Big Ten Conference.
Two Badgers landed themselves in the top 10 of the 3,000 meters. Victoria Heiligenthal won the event with a season-best time of 9:25.28. This time ranks Heiligenthal 11th in the Big Ten this season. Annika Cutforth ran a personal best of 9:34.05 for an eighth-place finish.
Madison Mooney was back competing in the 800 meters, winning the event with a personal best time of 2:04.58, placing her fourth in the Big Ten and second on UW's All-Time list. She was joined by Mya Bunke, who took seventh with a personal best time of 2:10.56.
A duo of Badgers competed in the mile, Kylie Finger was the first to finish, crossing in 4:45.99 for a fourth-place finish, while Ruby Madden placed 10th in 4:48.12.
Shaina Zinter competed in the 60 meter hurdle finals, posting a personal best time of 8.47 for fourth place, this time ties her for fifth on UW's All-Time list.
Day Two of field events
Redshirt sophomore Danni Langseth finished seventh in the shot put with a distance of 50 feet, 4 ¾ inches (15.36m). Julia Moore competed in the pole vault invitational. After clearing her first two attempts, she finished sixth, clearing 12-9 (3.89m).
Elissa Perkins earned herself the No. 9 spot on UW's All-Time list with a sixth-place finish and personal best jump of 40-5 (12.32m). Kyla Saleh had an impressive performance in the high jump, the freshman finished seventh with a mark of 5-6 1/2 (1.69m).

Athletes will travel to South Bend, Indiana, for the Alex Wilson Invite on Saturday, Feb. 17, events are scheduled to begin at 10:15 a.m. On the same day, the Badger throwing squad will also send a group of competitors to the Solomon W. Butler Classic in Dubuque, Iowa, with events starting at 2 p.m.
