Wisconsin wraps up full weekend slate

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's track and field team wrapped up the weekend by competing in two meets Saturday afternoon. Select throwers, sprinters, and jumpers competed in Baton Rouge for the Battle of the Bayou, while two middle-distance runners competed in the 800 meters at the Stanford Invitational.

The day was highlighted by senior Kiley Robbins, who set an all-conditions personal best mark in the 100-meter dash.

Kiley Robbins ran the No. 9 time in the NCAA this season in the 100 meters with a time of 11.29 seconds to finish 10th in a field that featured four professional athletes. The Milwaukee native's time is .15 seconds better than her school record of 11.44 seconds set at the 2022 Texas Relays, ut it was wind-aided.  Her time is also the second best in the Big Ten Conference this year.

Danni Langseth led the Badgers in the field, starting the day with an 11th-place finish in the discus throw, with a season-best distance of 160 feet, 10 inches (49.04m). Chikere Oduocha finished right behind Langseth, coming in 12th with a personal best throw of  160-3 (48.86m).

Langseth returned later in the day to compete in the shot put, finishing 10th with a toss of 51-10 1/2 (15.81m). Kyla Saleh competed in the high jump, finishing seventh, clearing 5-7 (1.70m).

In California, graduate student Madison Mooney was the lone Badger to race at Stanford on Saturday, finishing second in the second section of the 800 meters in 2:05.14.
