TUSCON, Ariz. — The Wisconsin women's golf team finished the MountainView Collegiate in fifth place out of 14 teams with one round to play.

Round 3: 

The Badgers carded a 30-over par as a team score, posting 290-307-297 over the 54 holes. The top Big Ten finisher, Wisconsin trailed only top-ranked teams, No. 30 Kansas State (4-over par), No. 18 Arizona taking (+14), No. 13 TCU (+15), and No. 34 Oklahoma (+21). Among the teams the Badgers topped was No. 47 Miami as well as conference foes Iowa and Nebraska.

An impressive four Badgers finished among the top 30, led by Vanessa Ho who tied for 11th place. Ho shot 5-over par for the three-round tournament, carding a 221 (73-74-74).
 
Just two strokes back, Chloe Chan tied for 19th place with a 7-over par, 223 (72-77-74).
 
Carter had the best final round for the Badgers, carding a 1-over par 73. This put her tied in 23rd place overall with an 8-over par 224 (73-78-73). Close behind, Izzi Stricker finished tied for 30th at 10-over par, 226 (72-78-76).

After a three-week break in play, the Badgers will return on Friday, Mar. 28, when they travel to the Chattanooga Classic in Ooltewah, Tenn.

Round 2:

As a team, the Badgers completed the first two rounds carding a combined 597 (290-307), landing them 21-over par.  

Vanessa Ho climbed 18 places on the leaderboard leaving her in 8th place after the second round. A day after shooting 1-over, she carded a 74 (2-over) on day two to leave her at 3-over par overall.  

Two other Badgers rank among the top 25 after Monday. Chloe Chan is tied for 19th place at 5-over par 149 (72-77). Izzi Stricker is tied for 24th place with a 150 (72-78) overall score, 6-over par. Carly Carter is just one back of Stricker, posting a 73-78-151 through two days. 

From a team standpoint, No. 18 Arizona paces the field at 8-over par, followed by No. 30 Kansas State in second at 9-over par, and No. 13 TCU in third at 10-over par.

Round 1:

After the first round of play at the MountainView Collegiate, the Wisconsin women's golf team sits tied for 4th place out of 14 teams. A pair of Badgers, Chloe Chan and Izzy Stricker, each fired an even-par 72 to currently slot in 21st place.  

As a team, the Badgers shot a 290 first-round, leaving them at 2-over par. This places them in a 6-way tie in fourth place, alongside Nebraska, Kansas State, Missouri, Iowa and Wichita State. 

No. 25 Oklahoma paces the group at 6-under with No. 13 TCU (-5) in second and Cincinnati (+1) in third. 

Vanessa Ho and Carly Carter trail one stroke behind at 1-over par, 73, leaving them tied for 26th place.
