Badgers sweep Harvard and Milwaukee, 4-0
MADISON, Wis. - Wisconsin women's tennis opened its home season Saturday at Nielsen Tennis Stadium with a doubleheader against Harvard and UW-Milwaukee. The Badgers swept both the Crimson and the Panthers, 4-0.
The momentum carried into singles play, where Wisconsin swept the opening sets, with three players jumping out to 6-0 leads. Lucie Urbanova earned the first singles point with a 6-0, 6-3 win, before Rangan and Maria Sholokhova followed to clinch the team victory for the Badgers.
