Ivanova makes a comeback to clinch the win
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The No. 26 Wisconsin women's tennis team defeated the Indiana Hoosiers, 4-2, Saturday afternoon in Bloomington.Â
The Badgers battled in doubles, with Maria Sholokhova and Kaede Usui earning a 6-3 win at No. 2, but the point ultimately went to the Hoosiers.
In contrast, singles play belonged to Wisconsin. Maria Sholokhova was the first off the court, defeating her opponent 6-2, 6-0. Ekaterina Ivanova delivered the clinching point for the Badgers, rallying after dropping the first set to win 2-6, 6-2, 7-5.
