High School/Personal  

• Was a three-year starter for coach Mike Spradlin at Rockwall (Texas) Heath High School where he hauled in 39 receptions for 603 yards and 7 touchdowns as a senior in 2021
• As Hawks' senior co-captain, he earned first-team all-district honors at tight end for an 11-2 team and was an academic all-state selection
• Hawks were 6A district champs (6-0) and regional semifinalist in 2021
• As a junior, he caught 27 passes for 450 yards and 3 touchdowns, while earning all-district honors for a 9-4 squad
• Played inside linebacker as a sophomore.
• Son of Derek and Kara Mason of Rockwall, Texas
• Has two brothers, Kaston and Evan
• Brother Kaston plays college baseball at Texas-Tyler
