A former student assistant basketball coach at the University of Minnesota Duluth, Adam Smith joined the Badgers as a graduate assistant in 2021-22.
Smith was a student-athlete for the Minnesota Duluth men's basketball team from 2017-20 before joining the team's staff as a student assistant following an injury.
During his time as a student assistant basketball coach for Minnesota Duluth, he helped with program operations, recruiting, video, player development, opponent scouting and game operations.
A Dean's list honoree for four semesters, Smith earned his bachelor's degree from UMD for business administration in finance in May 2021.
