Lindsay Lovelace was named the assistant director of basketball operations for the Wisconsin men’s basketball program at the start of the 2021-22 season.

A Pewaukee, Wisconsin, native, Lovelace most recently served as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin women’s golf team through the 2020-21 season.

In her six seasons with the Badgers, Lovelace helped lead Wisconsin to a pair of fourth-place finishes at the Big Ten tournament. Lovelace helped the Badgers advance to two team NCAA regionals, as well as one individual NCAA regional qualifier and one individual NCAA championship qualifier. Her last three seasons on staff also accounted for the three best single-season scoring averages in school history.

Prior to coming to Wisconsin, she was the assistant coach for men’s and women’s golf for three years at Southern Illinois-Edwardsville.

Lovelace played collegiate golf at Western Illinois (2007-11), and served as the graduate assistant coach there two years while earning her master’s degree. She earned four letters for the Leathernecks competing in 75 rounds throughout her career. Lovelace was the medalist at the 2010 Loyola Invitational with rounds of 74-76, the runner-up at the 2008 Western Illinois Fall Invitational, and earned three other top-five finishes in her career.

Lovelace earned her bachelor’s degree in business management in 2011, and earned a master’s in sport management in 2013, both from Western Illinois. Lindsay and her husband, Adam, were married in July, 2017 and have one son, Reid.
