MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin men's soccer team dropped an exhibition match against No.7 Louisville, 1-0, Friday night in Fort Wayne, Ind.
The game started off with a scoreless first half, until the Cardinals found the lone goal of the game in the 50th minute.
"You're never happy to lose, but it was great competition and Louisville is a really strong team," head coach John Trask said. "It was nice to see our newer players in action and to see the continuing development of the team as a whole. We're looking forward to our game against Evansville so we can further evaluate where we are this preseason."
The Badgers will close out the preseason on Sunday with an exhibition match against the Evansville Purple Aces in Angola, Ind. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m.
