Badgers fall short at ITA All-American Invite

TULSA, Okla. - The Badgers sent two of their own to Tulsa, Oklahoma this weekend to take part in the 2015 ITA All-American Invite.

Sophomore Josef Dodridge and senior Jakhongir Jalolov fought hard, but were unable to pull off wins against their opponents, and did not advance further into the tournament.

Dodridge fell to Oklahoma State's Tristan Meraut, 2-6, 4-6. Jalolov was defeated by Florida State's Jake Albo, 2-6, 3-6.

Despite the tough losses, Dodridge and Jalolov have plenty to look forward to, as Jalolov picked up an handful of wins at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic back in late September and Dodridge collected a few wins of his own at the Ivy Plus Tournament, which occurred during the same weekend.

The Badgers look to rebound next week as they head to Princeton, N.J. on Oct. 9th for the Princeton Invite.

Results - Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015
Jake Albo (FSU) def. Jakhongir Jalolov (UW), 6-2, 6-3
Tristan Meraut (OSU) def. Josef Dodridge (UW), 6-2, 6-4
