Team Notes

The Badgers won their 18^th straight Big Ten Conference match and their 14^th straight home match, both dating back to last season.
Wisconsin's 14-1 record is third-best start in program history with one loss
UW's 6-0 Big Ten record is third best conference start in program history trailing only 11-0 in 2001 and 9-0 in 2007. Wisconsin and Penn State are the only two undefeated teams in Big Ten play this season.
The Badgers improve to 7-1 against AVCA top-25 teams with the win tonight.
Wisconsin's .329 hitting percentage is the sixth highest for the Badgers this season.
UW had 10 service aces tonight after tallying a season-high 11 at Rutgers on Wednesday, marking the first double-figure service ace totals of the season.
The Badgers gave up only one service ace on the night.

Individual Notes

Sophomore Tionna Williams had a career-high 18 kills and hit a match-high .708 (18 kills – 1 errors – 24 attempts). The 6-2 middle blocker had the set winner in the third set and the match winner in the fourth set.
Freshman M.E. Dodge tied her career high with four assists. The 5-10 defensive specialist also picked up her 100^th career dig.
Sophomore Amber MacDonald tied her career-high with three service aces. The 5-4 defensive specialist likes serving against the Illini as her career high was originally set vs. Illinois on Sept. 30, 2015.
Redshirt senior Romana Kriskova had three digs in the match to record her 600^th career dig.
Head coach Kelly Sheffield is only one win away from 100 victories at Wisconsin.
