MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Wisconsin finished play at the Minnesota Invitational held in Minneapolis on Sunday afternoon. The Badgers were solid in doubles, earning a 2-1 overall mark, but less fortunate in the singles bracket, going 1-5 on the day.
Both teams in the Maroon draw picked up wins. Freshman Robert Krill and sophomore Chase Colton won over Denver's pair, Pedro Fernandez and Matt Summers, 6-2. Junior Osgar O'Hoisin and sophomore Daniel Soyfer beat Minnesota's duo of Josip Krstanovic and Eli Ogilvy, 6-2.

"This was a great tournament to gaugue where our teeam is at this point. It gives us the opportunity to learn about what we need to address in the upcoming offseason. We played some challenging tournaments this fall, which will certainly help us get ready for the dual season. We will step up our conditioning for the rest of the semester and work as hard as we can. Then we will be ready for when its time to go come spring season."
Up Next: Wisconsin takes a long break in preparation for the spring season. The Badgers start the dual schedule on January 20, at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium with a doubleheader against DePaul and Nebraska-Omaha.

Darius Mackenzie were the lone Badgers to pick up wins.
O'Hoisin beat Notre Dame's Richard Ciamarra in straight sets, 7-6 (4), 6-4. Mackenzie followed suit in a match against Stefan Lalovic of Boise State winning, 3-6, 6-3, 10-4.
