Monday, Dec. 4 | 6 pm — Bryce Jordan Center

MADISON, Wis. — The Badgers travel to the state of Pennsylvania for a pair of games in three days when they take on Penn State (Dec. 4) and Temple (Dec. 6).

Wisconsin is looking for its 10th-straight win over the Nittany Lions.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW: PENN STATE
1. TOUGHEST STRETCH: Wisconsin has played arguably the toughest schedule in the country so far. The Badgers are the only team in the country that has played four ranked teams already this season.
2. THISCLOSE: The Badgers are 0-4 against the AP top 25, but have come close to winning several. In three of them, UW was tied or within two points with 2:00 remaining.
3. BIG TEN BEASTS: Wisconsin has boasted a winning conference record and finished among the top four in each of the last 17 seasons, owning the longest run of continued sucess of any team in the 110-year history of Big Ten basketball.
4. HAPP HAVING HIS WAY: One of just two returning All-Americans in college basketball, junior Ethan Happ is off to an impressive start. He is the only major conference player averaging at least 16.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg and 3.0 apg.
5. YOUTH MOVEMENT: For the first time in 20 years, UW is relying heavily on freshmen. The Badgers freshman foursome of Brad Davison, Aleem Ford, Kobe King and Nate Reuvers is accounting for a combined 24.5 ppg and all four have had a game scoring in double figures this season, including five such games by Davison.

ALL-TIME vs. PENN STATE: Monday's game against the Nittany Lions marks the 46th all-time meeting between Wisconsin and Penn State with the Badgers owning a 35-10 advantage in the all-time series. This marks the only regular-season meeting between UW and PSU this season.
- The Badgers have won the last nine meetings with the Nittany Lions, including an 82-55 win in Madison last season. Wisconsin has won 22 of the last 24 against PSU overall.
- UW has won five straight in University Park, Pennsylvania, including a 66-60 win in 2016, the team's most recent visit.
- The Badgers' five straight wins at PSU equals their longest active road winning streak against a Big Ten opponent: at Penn State (5), at Illinois (5), at Iowa (3) and at Minnesota (3).
- UW has won 22 straight games vs. PSU when scoring at least 60 points. The Badgers' last loss to PSU when scoring at least 60 was a 76-61 setback in 2000 under head coach Dick Bennett.
- In two career meetings against Penn State, Ethan Happ has averaged 17.0 ppg, 9.5 rpg and 2.5 spg. In his last trip to PSU, Happ tallied 20 points and 11 rebounds, going 10-for-15 at the free throw line.
