EAST LANSING, Mich. —
Ethan Happ scored a team-high 23 points and Wisconsin battled back in the second half, but No. 6 Michigan State proved too much and earned a 76-61 win at the Breslin Center on Friday night.
The Badgers (10-12, 3-6 Big Ten) shot just 20.7 percent from the floor in the first half, but responded with 51.7 percent shooting in the second half. Happ scored 22 of his 23 points in the second half alone, also finishing with seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block.
Brevin Pritzl also reached double-figure scoring for UW with 13 points.
Miles Bridges had a game-high 24 points for the Spartans (19-3, 7-2), while Cassius Winston contributed 17 points, Nick Ward finished with 12 points and Jaren Jackson Jr. added 11 points.
