Straight from the track: freshman Stacey Boyd
On how his first meet as a Badger went:
"Going into it, I was really nervous, but I knew I had to execute, so I just tried to get my mind right and tried going as fast as I could. The energy is good and we're all like a family, so being around everyone competing feels good."
Â
On his performance at the Badger Icebreaker:
"I actually think I did pretty good, especially coming in as a freshman at my first meet. I'm really proud of how I did today, but I definitely have more progress to make. I can work more on my form and my starts coming off the blocks. I also want to lower my times and get closer with my team."
