MADISON, Wis. – After a two-week training trip to Hawaii, the Wisconsin swimming and diving team heads to Iowa City, Iowa, for its final set of dual meets this season. Before the Badgers battle Big Ten rivals Iowa and Northwestern on Saturday at 11 a.m., here are five things to know.

1. "24/7": Strong work in the pool was matched by studious work in school for the Badgers this past Fall semester.

Between the demands of academics and athletics, the Badgers did more than impress with fall semester grade-point averages of 3.40 for the women and 3.19 for the men.

Individually, five Badgers scored 4.0 GPAs for the fall: Eric Geunes and Jared Baetzold for the men and Hazel Hertting, Isabel Lampre and Paige Richardson for the women.

2. "Splash Warning": For outstanding individual efforts in Hawaii, sophomore MJ Mao and senior Emmy Sehmann were each named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week on Jan. 9.

The pair joined Cameron Tysoe and Beata Nelson as Badgers to receive the award this season.

But with the speediest of racing still in store, expect more Badgers to make a splash in the Big Ten's weekly honors.

3. "Going Bad(gers)" : Following a commanding sweep of the Rainbow Warriors, Wisconsin will look for back-to-back dustings in duals against Iowa and Northwestern.

Wisconsin and Northwestern have become familiar foes over the years, having competed against each other in four of the last five seasons.

A season ago in Evanston, UW's men tamed the Wildcats, 162-115, while the women completed the sweep, 161-130.

Meanwhile, cobwebs have since formed on the Badgers-Hawkeyes rivalry. All the way back in the 2011-12 season, Wisconsin's men fell to the Hawkeyes, 227.5-66.5, as did the women, 224-74.

4. "What's Free": Live results from Iowa City can be found on the Meet Mobile app and will be linked on the schedule pages at UWBadgers.com.

Saturday's meet will also be streamed live via Hawkeye All-Access on HawkeyeSports.com (paid subscription required).

Fans also can follow along on Twitter via @BadgerSwimDive.

5. "Championships": With Big Ten Championships right around the corner, the Badgers will gear up for an all-out blitz on the season's final lap.

The women's Big Ten Championships run Feb. 20-23 at Indiana, followed by the men's Big Ten Championships from Feb. 27 to March 2 at Iowa.
