Box Score MINNEAPOLIS – The Wisconsin men's tennis team finished their fall season this Sunday at the Gopher Invitational in Minneapolis. The Badgers duo of Scott Sculley and Lenard Soha came close to taking the Gopher Invitational champions title in doubles play as they became the runners-up to the Northwestern pair of Nick Brookes and Simen Bratholm.
 
Robins Parts and Jared Pratt picked up the solo win in doubles action today for the Badgers, defeating the Wichita State duo of Stefan Latinovic and Alex Richards, 6-2.
 
Jared Pratt won his singles matchup versus Alex Richards of Wichita State and Daniel Nuzhny bested his opponent, Ignacio Rivero Crespo, from Denver, both picking up three-set wins.
 
Up Next: As the fall season has come to the end, the Badgers will resume play at the Miami Invitational in Florida on Friday, January, 10-12.

MINNEAPOLIS – On the second day of the Gopher Invitational, the Wisconsin men's tennis team found success, going 5-3 in singles and 3-1 in doubles play.
 
The UW duo of Robin Parts and Jared Pratt won both their matches against Gonzaga's Sam Feit and Theo McDonald and Notre Dame's Matt Gamble and Paul Gota. They weren't the only Badger doubles pair to win on Saturday as Scott Sculley and Lenard Soha defeated the Minnesota duo of Jackson Allen and Eli Ogilvy.
 
In singles action, five Badgers picked up wins. Lenard Soha and Robin Parts dominated against their opponents, Sebastian Vile of Minnesota and Sam Feit of Gonzaga, respectively, in straight sets. Jared Pratt picked up a win after Gonzaga's Theo McDonald withdrew from the match in the second set. Chase Colton and Gabriel Huber overpowered Reid Jarvis and Freddie Powell of Drake in three-set wins.  
 
Up Next: The battles continue at the Gopher Invitational, the final fall invite for the Badgers, for the final day on Sunday.

MINNEAPOLIS – The Badgers finished the first day of competition in the Gopher Invitational at the Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis on Friday, recording three wins in both the singles and doubles draw.
 
Chase Colton, Gabriel Huber,and Lenard Soha had quite the day, picking up wins in both singles and doubles play. In the single's category, Huber and Soha each outplayed their opponents, beating Denver's Ignatius Castelino and Marquette's Luis Heredia, respectively, in straight-sets.Colton's battle against Denver's Ignacio Rivero Crespo went into a third set, where Colton secured the victory.
 
Colton and Huber brought the momentum from their singles wins to doubles play, dominating Crespo and Castelino of Denver, 6-1, in round one. The Wisconsin duo of Scott Sculley and Soha won a thrilling match against Luke Smrek and Luis Heredia of Marquette, 7-6. Sculley and Soha also defeated BIg Ten rivals Vlad Lobak and Sebastian Vile of Minnesota, 6-3.
 
Up Next: The Badgers will continue play at the Gopher Invitational on Saturday morning.
