Wisconsin says goodbye to O'Hoisin and Sweet in thrilling 4-3 loss to No. 15 Illinois

Box Score MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men's tennis team (10-11 overall, 4-7 B1G) was inched out against No. 15-ranked Illinois, 4-3, at Nielsen Tennis Stadium on Sunday during Senior Day.

The Badgers said goodbye to two seniors - Alan Sweet and Osgar O'Hoisin - in a senior day celebration prior to the match.

Wisconsin notched wins at the No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6-spots to make the match tight as tight as possible without  getting the win. Freshman Lenard Soha and Robert Krill both won in straight sets. Freshman Jared Pratt took it to a third frame to win over Illinois' Siphosophondo Montsi, 6-2, 3-6, 7-5.

Up Next: Wisconsin moves to the Big Ten Tournament, which starts with Minnesota on Thursday. The Badgers and Golden Gophers will battle at 9 a.m. CT in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
