Box Score MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men's tennis team (8-9 overall, 2-5 B1G) finally got a 4-3 decision to go it's way after suffering heartbreaker loss after heartbreaker loss. The Badgers knocked off fellow Big Ten competitor, Purdue (7-11, 1-6 B1G) on Sunday at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
The Badgers clinched the doubles point for the first tally of the match which improves Wisconsin's record to 13-4 on the season.
It was the No. 4, 5, and 6-spots that secured the win for the Cardinal and White on Sunday afternoon. Freshman
Jared Pratt notched the first singles point with a straight set 6-4, 6-3 win over Stephan Koenigfest. Sophomore
Robert Krill followed suit with his own straight set win over Purdue's Santiago Galan, 6-1, 6-3.
The German freshman,
Lenard Soha put the finishing touches on the match, snapping Wisconsin's six-game losing streak. Soha took down Dominik Sochurek 6-3, 6-4 to clinch the Wisconsin win.

"The guys have been staying the course. Purdue came out and was tough, but it's the Big Ten Conference so every team is tough. I thought we handled their push to get back in the match really, really well.
We won this match because of the way we responded during yesterday's practice. That's what I was most proud of. It's a great group of guys. They haven't had their reward as much as they should have, but today feels really sweet. Very proud of them."
