MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin softball team concludes its regular season this weekend at Goodman Diamond in a three-game conference series against Nebraska. The games are scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday, 1 p.m. Saturday and noon on Sunday.

1. GET TO GOODMAN: The annual Get to Goodman game is scheduled for Saturday. There will be fun for the entire family, including games for kids, fan giveaways, postgame autographs and a chance to run the bases after the game. All tickets are only $1!

2. THANK YOU SENIORS: This year's seniors Melanie Cross, Stephanie Lombardo, Angela Morrow, Gabby Scherle and Kelly Welsh, and manager McKenna Heim, will be honored Sunday during the last home game of the year.

3. PLAYING FOR A CAUSE: Friday's game will be a special one for the Wisconsin softball family as we will be welcoming friends with pediatric illnesses and their families to Goodman Diamond.

4. POSTSEASON SOFTBALL AWAITS: Following the conclusion of all Big Ten games this weekend, the 2019 Big Ten Tournament bracket will be announced. The Badgers currently rank fifth in the conference, just two games behind fourth place Ohio State.

5. SCOUTING NEBRASKA: The Huskers are 20-28 overall and 8-12 in conference play. They are coming off a weekend sweep of Maryland. Nebraska's super slugger is Tristen Edwards. She holds a .368 batting average with 50 hits, 49 RBI, 39 runs and 15 home runs.
