Box Score MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men's tennis team gave it their all at Nielsen Tennis Stadium on Thursday night, but Marquette went home with a win on their record. The Badgers (7-2) ended the match, 4-2, in Marquette's favor, ending with two wins in singles action.
Marquette took the opening doubles point, defeating Wisconsin on the second and third doubles courts.
In singles play,
Jared Pratt put up the first point for the Badgers of the night, defeating his opponent, Fran San Andres, in two sets, 6-2, 6-3. Shortly after,
Jesper Freimuth earned the second point, besting Brandon Shanklin in a two set win.
