The Golden Gophers started out with the advantage early on after claiming the doubles point. They continued their momentum into singles play, securing three more wins to clinch the match.

Gabriel Huber and
Robin Parts provided a pair of wins for Wisconsin in singles play. Huber knocked off Minnesota's Siim Troost in three sets, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, and Parts defeated Sebastian Vile in a third-set tiebreaker.
