Box Score MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men's tennis team was looking to gain their first conference and road win of the season on Sunday in a border battle with No. 40 Minnesota, but the Badgers fell short in the contest, 5-2. 
 
The Golden Gophers started out with the advantage early on after claiming the doubles point. They continued their momentum into singles play, securing three more wins to clinch the match.
 
Freshmen Gabriel Huber and Robin Parts provided a pair of wins for Wisconsin in singles play. Huber knocked off Minnesota's Siim Troost in three sets, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, and Parts defeated Sebastian Vile in a third-set tiebreaker.
 
UP NEXT: The Badgers are back on the road on Friday as they head to Nebraska for a 5 p.m. contest.
