Head coach Danny Westerman:
"Every sport in the country has been waiting to get a chance to play and it's just a great feeling. Our guys are showing that they put in a lot of hard work over the summer when they were all alone. We had a great fall preparation and I think after this weekend we feel like we can do something this year within the Big Ten. We're just excited to keep this momentum going. Proud of the guys and the way they competed, and they definitely became more of a team after this weekend."

Head Coach Danny Westerman
"It was just a fantastic opportunity for us to compete. All four teams here have been waiting for almost 11 months to compete and you can see the excitement. I'm sure there are plenty of players that felt like they could have played better, but that's going to come with a few matches under all our belts. It was a different feeling here but it was a lot of fun to get out there and wear the red and white on our chests – so I was very pleased that we could do this tonight."
