YOKOHAMA, Japan -- Former Wisconsin softball standout Kelsey (Jenkins) Harshman scored three times in Team Canada's 7-1 win over Australia on Friday at the 2020 Summer Olympics.Â
Harshman had a pair of hits as well to help Canada to its second win of the Summer Olympics.Â
After falling down 1-0 in the first inning, Canada scored three times in the first and second innings to surge past Australia. Harshman scored runs in the first, second and fourth innings.Â
Team Canada now sits in third place in pool play with a 2-1 with two games to go. The top-two teams in the pool will advance to the gold medal game while the third and fourth-place teams will play in the bronze medal contest.Â
