"This week was definitely disappointing," said
Griffin Barela.  "We put ourselves in an awful position after the first round and definitely made some improvements in the last two rounds, but it wasn't enough to dig ourselves out of a hole against this good of a field."
The Badgers improved their team score by 24 strokes from the first to the second round as Barela,
Cameron Huss and
Coalter Smith all shot under par, while
Robbie Morway shot even. Wisconsin recorded a 279, matching the third-lowest team score in program history.
