Before Wisconsin faces Purdue at 8 p.m. on ESPN, here is the Starting Five:
.) Revenge Win: Johnny Davis (19), Brad Davison (14), Chucky Hepburn (13), and Tyler Wahl (11) scored in double figures to lead the Badgers in a win at Jersey Mike's Arena. The team controlled most of the game and did not allow the Scarlet Knights to hold a lead larger than one point. Davis scored 15 of his 19 points in the second half and hit four free throws in the final minute to clinch the victory for UW. Wahl led the team with nine rebounds and tied for a team-high two steals.
.) Draining 3s: In the road win at Rutgers, four of the Badgers' first six field goals came from behind the arc. Wisconsin shot 45% (9-20 3pt FG) from beyond the arc for the fourth time this season. Davison led all players with four triples on eight attempts. All five starters made at least one 3-pointer in the matchup.
.) Dishing It: Freshman Chucky Hepburn notched five assists in the win at Rutgers, as three came in the first half alone. Five assists are the most Hepburn has recorded in a Big Ten game this season. He leads the team in total assists (63).
.) B1G Implications: With two games remaining in the regular season, Wisconsin controls its own destiny to clinching at least a share of the regular season Big Ten title, which it can accomplish Tuesday night with a win over Purdue. The Badgers hold a one game lead over the Boilermakers in the Big Ten standings and will hold a share of the conference crown with a win. A pair of wins against Purdue and Nebraska at home this week would give Wisconsin its first outright regular season Big Ten championship since 2015.
.) Series with Purdue: Wisconsin has won two of the last three matchups against the Boilermakers, including a 74-69 win at Mackey Arena earlier this season. In that game, Johnny Davis finished with an incredible 37 points and 14 rebounds. Against Purdue, Wisconsin trails the overall series, 111-73, but holds the lead for games played in Madison, 51-38. At the Kohl Center, UW is 13-5 against the Boilermakers.
