Box Score MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The Wisconsin men's tennis team's fall season got underway over the weekend with four Badgers representing at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic.
 
Seniors Jared Pratt, Sebastian Vile, Robin Parts and graduate transfer Jason Hildebrandt kicked off the season with both doubles and singles tournament play.
 
Hildebrandt made his Wisconsin debut, pairing with Pratt in doubles and making it all the way to the semifinal match. The duo defeated Adam Kovac and Pawit Sornlaksup of Toledo 6-4 in the round of 16 before a 6-2 win over Finn Garner and Sasha Panyan of Navy in the quarterfinals.
 
The success for Hildebrandt continued into singles competition, advancing all the way to the semifinals. He posted a pair of swift two-set wins over UAB's Georgios Nouchakis (6-4, 6-3) and Toledo's Pawit Sornlaksup (6-4, 6-0) before losing to Charles Bertimon of VCU (6-1, 6-4) in the semifinals.
 
Vile and Pratt each picked up a singles win versus Marquette opponents in the consolation round of 16. Vile defeated Ian Brady 6-4, 6-2 while Pratt took down Stefan Dragovic in a dominating 6-0, 6-0 performance. Pratt picked up another win in the consolation quarterfinals in exciting two-set fashion over Aleksa Krivokapic of Depaul 6-3, 7-5.

The Badgers travel to Clemson, South Carolina, to compete in the Clemson Invitational this Friday through Sunday.
