MADISON, Wis. -- No. 3 Wisconsin (24-3, 15-3 B1G) wraps up the regular season with two matches in the UW Field House this week. The Badgers take on 2023 Big Ten champions Nebraska (27-0, 18-0) on Friday at 3 p.m. live on Big Ten Network. UW hosts Senior Night on Saturday when Iowa (8-22, 0-18) comes to town. First serve is at 7 p.m. on B1G+ ($). The Badgers will recognize six seniors in post-match ceremonies.

1. SENIOR SENDOFF:  The Badgers will recognize six seniors in a post-match ceremony on Saturday—Temi Thomas-Ailara, Izzy Ashburn, Joslyn Boyer, MJ Hammill, Gabby McCaa and Sydney Reed.

2. BOUNCING BACK: For the first time since 2018, Wisconsin dropped back-to-back Big Ten matches. Playing without right-side hitter Anna Smrek, who missed three matches with an upper-body injury, the Badgers fell at No. 19 Penn State, 3-1, on Nov. 11 and at No. 17 Purdue, 3-2, on Nov. 17. UW got back on the winning track with a sweep at Indiana on Sunday.

3. BADGERS AT THE TOP: The Badgers lead the nation with 3.01 blocks per set, outblocking 25 opponents this season and more than doubling up 15 foes in team blocks. Sophomore Carter Booth ranks second nationally and leads the Big Ten with 1.57 blocks per set. Booth also leads the Big Ten and ranks third nationally with a .445 hitting percentage.

4. PROGRAM NUMBERS:
 Senior Sarah Franklin recorded a career-high 28 kills at Purdue last Friday, setting a UW record for kills in a five-set match. The 6-foot-4 outside hitter also set five-set school records for total attacks (67) and points (31.5), both were personal bests.

5. APPROACHING MILESTONES: Two Badgers are counting down to career milestones. Senior Devyn Robinson has 973 career kills and will become the 26th Badger to record 1,000 kills in a career. Senior CC Crawford has 495 career blocks. The 6-foot-3 middle blocker had 235 blocks in two season at Kansas and has 260 blocks in two years at Wisconsin.

6. SELECTION SUNDAY: The 64-team bracket for the 2023 NCAA Championship will be announced on Sunday live on ESPN at  5 p.m. CT.
