GREENSBORO, N.C. – The No.12 Wisconsin women's and No. 20 men's swimming and diving teams continue the regular season, taking part in the third day of competition at the U.S. Open.

Kicking off day three,
Dominik Mark Torok competed in the men's 400-meter individual medley B final, finishing second in the heat and 10th overall in 4 minutes, 20.04 seconds. In the women's 400-meter individual medley,
Maddie Waggoner finished fifth in the C final in 4:55.52.
In the freestyle events,
Abby Carlson took part in the women's 200-meter freestyle B final, coming in fifth in her heat and 13th overall in 2:00.55, qualifying for the U.S. Olympic Trials.
Senior
Phoebe Bacon earned her second Olympic Trials cut of the meet, advancing to the A final of the women's 100-meter backstroke. She finished fifth in 1:00.11. Teammate
Mackenzie McConagha qualified for the C final of the 100 back, touching in 1:02.23 for fifth place in her heat.
The only other Badger to qualify for one of the top three finals was
Hazal Ozkan, who finished second in the C final of the 100-meter breaststroke in 1:09.62.
