MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men's basketball team concludes a three-game homestand facing Iowa on Wednesday night. The Badgers are set to take on the Hawkeyes at 8 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on Big Ten Network.

Before the Badgers host the Hawkeyes, here is the Starting Five.

1. LAST TIME OUT: Jordan Davis scored a team-high 14 points, but Wisconsin lost a heartbreaker against Rutgers, 58-57. Max Klesmit was the only other Badger to score in double-figures with 11 points, while Kamari McGee scored a season-high nine points off of the bench.

2. WEAR WHITE: For Wednesday's game, Wisconsin Athletics is encouraing all Badger fans to wear white to the game!
 


3. DOWN TO THE WIRE: Five out of the last six games the Badgers have played have been decided by five points or less. This season, there have been 17 games that have come down to the thin margin of five points or less, including five that have gone into overtime. UW currently holds a 10-7 record in such contests. The last two seasons, UW is 22-8 in games decided by 5 or fewer points.

4. McGEE RISING: In the past two games, sophomore guard Kamari McGee has had an impactful presence coming off of the bench. On Saturday, McGee scored a season-high 9 points and played 23 minutes, his most as a Badger, shooting 3-for-6 from 3-point range.

5. WISCONSIN vs IOWA: Wednesday marks the second meeting this season between Wisconsin and Iowa after the Badgers earned a 78-75 overtime victory over the Hawkeyes back in December. In the season's first meeting, Tyler Wahl scored 21 points, grabbed seven rebounds and swiped a season-high four steals. Connor Essegian (14 points), Steven Crowl (12 points) and Klesmit (11 points) also scored in double figures for UW.
