MADISON, Wis. – MADISON, Wis. – The 24th-ranked Wisconsin men's swim and dive program wrapped up its regular season with a 176-103 win over Green Bay on Friday. The Badgers won 14 events, including four by seniors during UW's Senior Night celebration.

Senior winners

Four Badger seniors won events on Friday, including double-event winners Wes Jekel and Ben Wiegand.

Jekel won 200 back in 1 minutes, 43.73 seconds while Wiegand claimed the 100 free in 44.21. The Badgers swept the top-three places in the 100 free behind Wiegand. Senior Constantin Bensch finished second in 44.39 while senior Ryan Zelen took third in 45.51.  

Jekel, Wiegand and Bensch also teamed with fellow senior Will Myhre to win the 200 free relay in 1:24.54.

Other senior winners were Drew Nixdorf in the 100 back in 48.43 and Jack Leuthold in the 500 free in 4:36.22.

Muller dives in

Junior Daniel Muller won the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events for UW. The Badgers swept the 1-meter board with Muller leading the way with 367.88. Jan Lanser took second with 337.80 points and Sebastian Lawrence taking third with 325.73 points. Muller also claimed the 3-meter board with 339.15 points.

Other event winners

Freshman Dominik Mark Torok continued his win streak, earning an individual win for the fourth-straight meet. Torok, who recently picked up Big Ten Freshman of the Week accolades, won the 200 breast in 1:58.55.  
 
Junior Jake Newmark also continued his individual winning streak in the freestyle, hitting the wall first in the 1000 free in 10:10.84.

Wisconsin swept the freestyle events with Isaac Casey-Hrenak touching first in the 50 free in 20.49. Myhre finished second in 20.59 and Zelen took third in 20.62.

Sophomore Yigit Aslan led a 1-2-3 sweep in the 200 free, winning in 1:36.74. Andrew Benson finished second in 1:38.69 while Jude Williams took third in 1:40.32.

Freshman Charlie Jones won the 200 fly in 1:51.69 while sophomore Matthew Segal was the victor in the 200 IM in 1:50.67.

Wisconsin travels to Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Feb. 22-25 for the Big Ten Conference Championships.
