MINNEAPOLIS – The Wisconsin men's swim team completed the final day of the NCAA Championships at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center on Saturday. The Badgers finished 23rd in the team race with 27 points, marking their best finish since 2017. Wisconsin earned 10 All-America honors at the championships.
Freshman
Dominik Mark Torok was the top finisher for Wisconsin in the prelims, placing 27th in the 200 fly in 1:43.22.
Jake Newmark placed 32nd in the 200 back in 1:42.39 while
Wes Jekel followed closely behind in 35th in 1:43.41.
The Badgers finished the meet with a 20th-place finish in the 400-free relay. Newmark,
Taiko Torepe-Ormsby,
Andrew Benson, and
Ben Wiegand hit the wall in 2:50.95.
