STATESBORO, Ga. – After three rounds of play at the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate, sophomore
Spencer Turtz tied for 27th at seven-over par to lead the Wisconsin men's golf individuals at the Georgia Southern University Golf Course.Â
Sunday, February 4
Round 3
Matching his second round score, Turtz carded a two-over 74, placing him at seven-over par to tie for 27th.
Ryan Smith also stayed consistent as he shot a four-over 76 to finish in 69th place at 20-over par.Â
Daniel Aas and
Graham Moody each tallied a seven-over 79 in the final round, allowing them to finish tied for 53rd at 13-over par.Â
Saturday, February 3
Round 2
Improving his first round score by six strokes, Aas paved the way for Wisconsin individuals as he made par to finish the day tied for 34th. Aas tallied four birdies in the final round of the first day.Â
Turtz tallied a two-over 74 to end the day tied for 29th, while Smith improved his score by eight strokes to shoot a four-over 76 for a 71st place finish. Moody carded a five-over 77, placing him tied for 34th with Aas.Â
Round 1
Moody led the Badger individuals in the first round, shooting a one-over 73 to tie for 16th.Â
Turtz followed closely behind with a three-over 75 to tie for 28th, and Aas shot a six-over 78 to tie for 55th. Smith tied for 71st after carding a 12-over 84. Â Â
