CHICAGO – The Wisconsin women's track and field team wrapped up day one of the Badgers Windy City Invitational at Gately Stadium with three victories and a new school record on Friday

Senior Kiley Robbins won the 60-meter dash and broke her own school record, while Madison Mooney won the mile and Chloe Lindeman won the weight throw to highlight the Badger performances on day one.

Robbins breaks her own record

Madison Mooney continues her hot streak in the mile, winning the event with a personal best time of 4 minutes, 34.54 seconds. The Bloomfield, Colorado native is ranked third in the Big Ten and 22nd nationally. Junior Mya Bunke competed alongside Mooney, she finished ninth with a time of 4:48.92.

Straight from the track
Kiley Robbins on her race

" I'm really excited that I beat my previous personal best, it was a long time coming. I came off a really great meet last week and I knew the little things I need to fix. This week I focused on the little tiny things and they made the world of difference on the track. I came in with a lot of energy and being here is just amazing. There's a lot of energy, great music, everyone's just so excited to be watching track in Chicago. That really helped to start."
