INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Wisconsin men's swimming and diving team finished the NCAA Championships in 31st place with 16 points at the IU Natatorium on Saturday night.
Taiko Torepe-Ormsby set his second program record in the 100 free on Saturday in the 100 free. His time of 41.96 placed him 21st, and is now a new personal best time.
Dominik Mark-Torok was the only Badger to place in the top-16 for the rest of the meet, placing ninth in the 400 individual medley with a time of 3:39.20 to be named All-American honorable mention. Torok also placed 29th in the 200 breast with a time of 1:42.71 to finish off his sophomore season.
The 400 free relay concluded the meet with a 21st place finish. The relay consisting of Torepe-Ormsby, Andrew Benson, Nico Butera, and Chris Morris finished with a time of 2:50.90 to conclude the meet, which is now third-all time in program history.

DAY 1 & 2: Torepe-Ormsby earns Honorable Mention All-American in 50 free
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Wisconsin men's and swimming and diving team began the NCAA Championships in Indianapolis looking to build upon a strong Big Ten meet. After day two of competition at the IU Natatorium, the Badgers sit in 25th place.
Wisconsin started the meet with a 19th-place finish in the 800-Free relay. Dominik Mark- Torok,
Nico Butera,
Yigit Aslan and
Chris Morris hit the wall in 6:28.35 on Wednesday night.
On Thursday night,
Taiko Torepe-Ormsby represented the Badgers in the 50 free, placing 10th with a time of 18.81 to earn All-American honorable mention.
The 200 free relay consisting of Torepe-Ormsby,
Andrew Benson,
Ben Wiegand, and
Chris Morris checked in with an 18th-place finish in 1:16.46 to finish off night two.
