MADISON, Wis. – Current Wisconsin women's hockey standouts Lacey Eden, Laila Edwards, Caroline Harvey, Ava McNaughton and Kirsten Simms will join UW legends Hillary Knight, Britta Curl-Salemme, Jesse Compher, Casey O'Brien and Anna Wilgren on Team USA for the 2025 Hockey Rivalry Series against Team Canada.
The University of Wisconsin contingent makes up one-third of the 2025 Rivalry Series roster, with ten Badgers set to compete for the United States.
Curl-Salemme, Compher, Eden, Edwards, Harvey, Knight, McNaughton, Simms, and Wilgren were all a part of the crew that led the U.S. to gold at the 2025 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Women's World Championship.
In 2022, Compher, Harvey, and Knight represented the U.S. in Beijing, where the team took second and Canada won gold.
USA Hockey Bob Allen Player of the Year and Wisconsin Hall of Famer Hillary Knight headlines the field. The former Badger competed for Team USA in four Olympic games, earning silver three times while leading the U.S. to gold in 2018.
Patty Kazmaier winner and PWHL Sirens player, Casey O'Brien, will reunite with her former teammates at the games. Eden, Edwards, Harvey, McNaughton, Simms and O'Brien led Wisconsin to the NCAA title in 2025 while Edwards, Simms, O'Brien, and Harvey collected first-team All-America honors.
The series begins with a pair of games on Novemeber 6 and 8. The first game takes place at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, while the second moves to the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, N.Y..
The next two games take place in Canada on December 10 and 13, both at Rogers Place in Edmonton.
