MADISON, Wis. – Former Badger rower Taylor Caudle has been named to the Rowsellas squad set to represent Team Australia at the 2025 World Rowing Championships, which runs from September 21-28 in Shanghai, China.
The Rowsellas are athletes who have competed for Australia at a world championship or Olympic/Paralympic Games.
Caudle will row in the women's pairs event at her first world championships, joining former Badgers Lauren O'Connor, Isa Darvin and Grace Joyce, who will represent Team USA at the event.
The Canberra, Australia, native rowed for Wisconsin from 2016-20, and was a team captain during her final season. In 2018, Caudle raced with the varsity four that placed 15th at that year's NCAA championships and fourth at that year's Big Ten championships. In 2019, she received CRCA National Scholar Athlete honors while helping the second varsity eight to a 12th-place finish at the NCAA championships and a fourth-place finish at the Big Ten championships.
