Badgers looking for first win over Indiana since 2015
MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin will return home to host the Indiana Hoosiers on Wednesday, Feb. 4. Tip is set for 6:30 p.m. (CT) and can be streamed on B1G+.Â
Here are five things to know before the Badgers face the Hoosiers:
1. THREE BALL THREAT:Wisconsin has taken a major step forward from beyond the arc in the 2025–26 season. The Badgers are averaging 8.9 made threes per game, up from 6.0 last season, ranking first in the conference and 20th nationally, while shooting a solid 34.9%. Wisconsin has increased its three-point attempts from 17.8 per game in 2024-25 (243rd nationally) to 25.4 in 2025-26 (36th), a jump of 7.7 attempts per contest that has transformed the team's offense.
2. SCOUTING THE HOOSIERS:
Indiana heads into this match up with a 12-11 overall record and a 1-10 in conference play. The Hoosiers picked up their first win against Northwestern 89-75. Head coach Teri Moren is in her 12th season with Indiana.Â
At the head of the offensive for the Hoosiers is senior Shay Ciezki. She averages 23.6 points per game and pulls down 3.3 rebounds per game. She has recorded 63 assists which is good for second on the team.Â
3. SERIES HISTORY:
Wisconsin and Indiana have tipped off over 75 times with the latest meeting taking place in Bloomington. The series is tied 18-18 in Madison with Wisconsin trailing 23-56 in the all time series.Â
4. LAST TIME OUT:
The Wisconsin women's basketball team dropped to No. 11 Ohio State, 81-58, on the road. Destiny Howell led the team in scoring with 29 points off a season-high 11 field goals and 5-for-7 shooting from beyond the arc. Ronnie Porter added eight points, while Lily Krahn contributed six points with a pair of three-pointers. Gift Uchenna anchored Wisconsin inside with a team-high 12 rebounds and three blocks.
Wisconsin ended shooting 39.3% (22-56) from the field, 45.8%(11-24) from deep and 42.9% from the free throw line.
