Siehl leads UW in 27th

TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Wisconsin women's golf team is in eighth after two rounds of the Arizona Thunderbird Intercollegiate at the Tucson Country Club. UW played 36-holes on Monday to open the spring season at +32, tallying the fourth-most pars in the field with 108.

Senior Alexia Siehl paced Bucky at +6, landing in 27th, overall. The senior teed off her final spring campaign, stringing together a stretch of nine-straight pars, or under, earning two birdies in the spurt. She also notched the third-highest Par 3 scoring average, going one-under.

True freshman Grace Slocum led UW after Round 1, tallying a 75, before ultimately finishing 36th at +8. Kate Brody joined her in the top-45 at +9, finishing 41st.

Tammy Wu and Izzi Stricker split the scoring, with Stricker going +7 in the first round, while Wu turned it on in the second with a +2, 74.
