Personal: McGovern is a freshman rower from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania majoring in Biomedical Engineering... Parents are Julie Day and David McGovern... Has two siblings, Laura and Maggie... Competed in rowing and field hockey at The Agnes Irwin School...McGovern's brother, David, is a rower at Drexel University.
