2016-17 (Senior): Placed first with the second varsity eight at the Stanford Invite … sat two seat with the second varsity eight that placed second for the Jablonic Cup … won the Congram Cup with the second varsity eight … earned a third place finish in the petite final at the Eastern Sprints with the second varsity eight … finished 13th at the IRA National Championships with the second varsity eight

2015-16 (Junior): Rowed with the third varsity eight, helping the boat to a first place finish in the petite final at the IRA National Championships and a sixth place finish at the Eastern Sprints... raced with the third varsity four at the Devil's Lake Dual, taking second place... also raced at Devil's Lake with the second varsity eight, placing second... helped the third varsity eight to a win at the Stanford Invite from three seat, while sitting in bow with the third eight that won against Syracuse.

2014-15 (Sophomore): Raced four times in bow seat for the second varsity eight and helped the team to an eighth place finish at the Eastern Sprints and a first place victory over Stanford and Oregon State and the Stanford Invitational…sat twice in three seat in the second varsity eight, finishing second in two races to Boston University and Northeastern at the Devil’s Lake Challenge…raced once in the third varsity eight in bow while finishing eighth at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championships.   

2013-14 (Freshman):  Raced in two seat in the freshmen eight  that triumphed against Stanford and Oregon State and placed second against California, Boston University and Northeastern University...helped the freshmen eight reach fourth place in the Eastern Conference Sprints amongst the other teams in the Eastern Association for Rowing Colleges conference...sat bow seat in the Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championships with the freshmen eight that finished fifth overall in June.

2013-14: Won the freshmen eight race at Head of the Huron ... placed third in the varsity eight race with the freshmen eight

High School: Ran four years of cross country ... captain for 2013 season ... team placed eighth at 2013 WIAA State Cross Country Meet, finishing as the team's third scorer ... team was fifth in 2012 ... also ran three years of track ... personal bests included 4:33 at 1600 meters and 2:02.2 at 800 meters

Personal: Parents are Sam and Mary Beth Idarraga ... has a brother, Andrew ... intended major is botany.

Reason for choosing UW-Madison: "The warm weather and mild winters."
