2016-17 (Sophomore): Raced to a win at the Minnesota/MSOE Dual with the novice eight in April … also took second place with a four against Minnesota and MSOE … raced with a novice eight at the Princeton Chase in the fall, placing 18th

2015-16 (Freshman): Took first against Minnesota and MSOE with the freshmen eight and with the freshmen four... placed third at the Devil's Lake Dual with the second freshmen eight... competed with the second freshmen eight and second freshmen four at Head of the Eagle during the fall season.

Personal: Parents Joan and Dave Pike … one brother named Sam … intended major is Mechanical Engineering. 

High School: Graduated from Franklin High School… two-year letter winner in volleyball, while his team was the 2015 SEC conference champs … three-year letter winner in tennis.

Reasons for choosing UW-Madison: "I chose UW-Madison because I grew up in Wisconsin and it has one of the best engineering colleges around."

What Wisconsin rowing means to you: "Wisconsin rowing has allowed me to challenge myself both physically and mentally. For me, being a part of the freshman team means a chance to compete on one of Madison’s greatest teams, as well as an opportunity to keep myself active and in good physical condition."
