Wisconsin hopes to continue a five-match unbeaten streak as it faces its last regular season road opponent in Illinois on Saturday night at 7 p.m. Wisconsin is 5-3-2 on the road this season and 3-1-1 in Big Ten road games. Rose Lavelle has proven to be one of the best to ever wear a Wisconsin women's soccer uniform. Having already made her mark in UW's record book, she accomplished yet another feat on Friday, becoming the program's first top-30 finalist for the Senior CLASS Award.

Paula Wilkins earned her 100th win with the Wisconsin women's soccer program with a 1-0 win over South Dakota State in double overtime.Â
3. In addition, Lavelle ranks third in the Big Ten with an average of 3.59 shots per game.Â

Payton Wesley are the only players thus far to record both a goal and an assist in a game. Powers also leads the team in points with 13.
6. All it took was the first 22 seconds of regulation for the Wisconsin women's soccer team to secure a 1-0 victory against Michigan State in East Lansing on Sunday afternoon. Senior midfielder

Emily Borgmann was credited with the assist, feeding Powers with a cross from the left side of the field.

Allie Winterfield is the only freshman to start all seventeen games this season.

Dubbed as the one of the most exciting and aggressive draws this season by the announcers, the Wisconsin women's soccer team (6-4-6 overall, 3-2-3 Big Ten) clashed with No. 25 Michigan (9-3-2, 5-2-1) and fought the Wolverines to a 1-1 draw on Thursday night. 9. Clem also ranks first the country in goalie minutes played with 1678:33 minutes logged and her seven shutouts ranks 20th in the nation.
10. Wisconsin ranks third in the Big Ten with 262 shots on the season.Â
11. Illinois and UW have met 21 times, with Wisconsin trailing the series 8-11-2.
Scouting the opponent
- Illinois has currently won three of their past four games, including a dominant 3-0 win over Michigan who was ranked No. 18 at the time
- The team most recently split their previous weekend of action, losing 2-0 to Nebraska before bouncing back with a 2-1 win over Iowa
- The Fighting Illini also have a favorable record at their home field this season, boasting a 5-3-0 record
- Three members of Illinois' team were selected to the Big Ten Preseason Honors list:
- Senior defender Hope D'Addario has started in all 17 games for the Fighting Illini this season
- D'Addario has already recorded five assists this season
- Senior midfielder Taylore Peterson has also started all 17 games this season while netting two goals, inlcuding the game-winner against Iowa, and being credited with one assist
- Junior forward Kara Marbury has played in nine games, starting in eight of them
- Marbury has also notched three goals and one assist this season
- Head coach Jantet Rayfield has led Illinois to the NCAA tournament in 10 of her 14 season with the program, including a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2013
In 2013, the Fighting Illini ended the season ranked 25th in the country under Rayfield's leadership
Rayfield has also coached seven players to nine conference Player of the Year awards during her career with the program.
