Box Score COLUMBUS, Ohio. – No. 19 Wisconsin women's soccer (12-3-3 overall, 6-2-3 Big Ten) closed out an incredible 2018 regular season on Sunday, finishing third in the Big Ten after falling to Ohio State (9-5-3, 6-2-3) on the road, 2-1.
Dani Rhodes scored Wisconsin's goal in the 18th minute, off of an assist from
Victoria Pickett, to answer back on Ohio State's opening goal in the eighth minute. It was Rhodes' fourth goal of the season.
Ten minutes later, knotted up at 1-1, Ohio State's Eleanor Gabriel knocked a shot off the post which ricocheted off of Wisconsin defender
Camryn Biegalski and into Wisconsin's net, giving the Buckeyes the advantage.
Wisconsin outshot OSU 13-6 and had an 8-2 corner advantage. Rhodes led all players with four shots and two shots on goal.
