MADISON, Wis. - Receiving a No. 4 seed in the Big Ten Tournament standings, the Wisconsin women's soccer (12-3-3 overall, 6-2-3 Big Ten) is gearing up to host Illinois (11-7-0, 6-5-0) in the first round of the Tournament. The game will take place at McClimon Soccer Complex this Sunday at 12 p.m. CT.

1. SEASON IN REVIEW: The Badgers pieced together yet another impressive regular season in 2018, ending up tied for third in the conference and going through two seven-match unbeaten streaks throughout the year. Sophomore Lauren Rice led the way for Wisconsin this season with 16 points coming from seven goals and two assists while sophomore Cameron Murtha and junior Dani Rhodes were tied for the second-most points with 10 a piece. Wisconsin logged seven shutouts throughout the season.

2. ALL THE AWARDS: Wisconsin landed four athletes on All-Big Ten teams at the conclusion of the season. Midfielder Victoria Pickett was awarded first team All-Big Ten for her position while Rhodes earned second team and defender Claire Shea landed on third team for defensive players. Junior Jordan McNeese was the recipient of Wisconsin's sportsmanship award. This marks back-to-back years Pickett and Rhodes earned these honors while it is a first for Shea and McNeese.

3. REMEMBER LAST TIME?: The last meeting between these two programs took place earlier this season when Rhodes sent Illinois away with a 1-0 loss following her 103rd minute game-winner. Rhodes took a pass from McNeese and while sliding on the ground knocked the ball into the back of the net giving Wisconsin the victory. Illinois leads the all-time series 9-11-3.

4. SCOUTING ILLINOIS: Illinois comes in with an 11-7 overall record and a 6-5 conference mark. The team is 3-1 in its last four meetings, winning two at home and splitting two on the road. The Fighting Illini have placed seven shutouts this season and been shutout just three times. Illinois' points leader throughout the season has been Katie Murray with 17 points coming from seven goals and three assists.
